Wilson Combat is a well know custom shop and recently, gun manufacturer.  Their quality of gunsmithing is among the best in the real gun market.  They insist on customizing single stack Government rather than high capacity model.  In fact, for civilian's carry gun, double column seems too much and bulky.  The recent limitation on magazine capacity in the US also narrow up the difference between double stack and single stack.

It is a first model gun of Wilson Combat Custom Government.  For all model gun governments, usually they will only use parts from Wilson Combat, but not a full custom.  Government expert MGC had made a smart move on this gun.  Heavy Weight slide combined with a silver plated ABS frame.  As heavy weight frame will never look good in silver plating, normal ABS is chosen by MGC.  Heavy Weight slide is used to maintain the weight of this gun.  Result is a excellent looking gun which is sure a collectors' item.

Government collector Raymond sure collect this model and he managed to modify such good gun for higher realism.

Attention to detail is done by Raymond.  Beavertail, magazine well and base pad are borrowed from Western Arms Supergrade as they look closer to the real gun.  Hammer is reshaped by Clarence for same reason.  Magazine release is changed to enlarged release button and spring housing is filed to personalized such pistol.  Other things like silver plated bushing, original Wilson wood grip, guide rod, ambidextrous safety are all standard from MGC.

Like all MGC custom model guns, Wilson Mastergrade is limited in production.
